Sheltering Wings sponsors Missionary Becky Schroeder who runs our Sustainable Agriculture Project in the African nation of Burkina Faso.
We have been given land by a nearby village to address the short growing season and food shortage crisis. Agriculture experts and University students, studying agriculture and engineering, are recruited to seek and find solutions for growing food all year round. Aquaponics has already been tested and we have a working model. Other growing methods, like hydroponics and aeroponics, are just a few techniques that will be explored. Once solutions are found, national teams of evangelists will be taught how to duplicate these farming methods and train local Burkinabe, which will bring both food and the Gospel into villages.
Thank you for your support of Becky Schroeder and the work she is doing in Burkina Faso, West Africa. May God richly bless you!!!!
Special needs children need an advocate. Yes, they may be sick or dying, but they deserve love, great treatment and care. Your donation will be used to help Burkinabé sick and terminally ill children with the medical assistance and formula they need. as well as to support fully the family with a community that understands the difficulty of raising a child that has special needs
Eugene Simiyu recently had surgery due to an old injury that he incurred while living on the streets. He’s been in our program since 2013. He is precious. He loves Jesus and preaching. He’s worked so hard in school that he’s climbed to being the 9th best student in his class, out of 33. He says he wants to be an aeronautic engineer, and that his dream is to be able to help society since he was helped. His hospital bill is 103,870 Kenyan shilling, or approximately $1000. Any assistance towards his bill would help greatly. Thank you very much.
